Phenomena is a new destination and creator-driven marketplace for experiential learning. Phenomena presents concepts visually and through dynamic interactive models — the way engineers, scientists and mathematicians think about them.
The Phenomena team has built a browser-based tool that makes creating interactive STEM experiences quick and easy and is now building a thriving creator community and marketplace around it. Presently, we are focused on middle school and high school STEM subjects, but ultimately the platform will expand to all of K-12 and an even wider range of subjects — all driven by creators on the Phenomena platform.
Our goal at Phenomena is to become the definitive destination for experiential learning, with thousands of creators building tens of thousands of experiences, serving millions of students worldwide.

Our founder Reuven Regev, when studying for his Ph.D. at Standford University, had an idea. He came across understanding and saw the opportunity to create a device for taking notes and saving time in doing work projects related to his thesis.
As an international student in the US and a visitor then, Ruben was also confronted with the reality that he needed to read texts and materials in different languages than his original language. Therefore, as an engineer, he was inspired to start working on a device that would help scan books that are easy to use for everyone at any age and anywhere upon his return to Israel.
He began to work on the initial draft and made the first design models. The basic idea of the design was a simple, handheld device that helps transform print text to a digital format where students and readers worldwide can access print text as independent readers and take notes on the road.
Another aspect of ScanMarker products is: they are perfectly built for a bilingual international environment, supporting more than 100 languages. Today’s scan marker pen readers are at their optimal position, created with a diverse team of developers based in Israel and licensed educators and assistive technology experts located globally.
